In accordance with California State Bar rules of procedure, we strive to have all referral agreements authorized in writing by the client prior to the resolution of a case to avoid any misunderstanding about fee sharing.

Whether for corporate, defense or criminal defense, we enter into fee-sharing agreements with all types of lawyers, as permitted by law. The amount of the agreed percentage of the referral fee will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the unique circumstances of the case in question. Some of the factors that will come into play in determining fees will be the type of case, its level of risk, the expected costs, the desired level of involvement of the referring attorney and the stage of the litigation.
